Don’t Risk Your Order on an Unverified Supplier

Sourcing from a new factory is a major risk. Brochures and websites can easily exaggerate a factory’s size, capabilities, and quality controls. If a supplier cannot handle your order volume or lacks a proper quality system, you will face delayed shipments, defective goods, and lost revenue.

A PRIAAS Factory Audit gives you an objective, on-the-ground evaluation of your potential supplier. We physically visit the factory, verify their legal status, inspect their machinery, evaluate their quality control processes, and confirm their actual production capacity—so you can make sourcing decisions based on facts, not promises.

How We Conduct a Factory Audit

We do not use subjective checklists. Our audits are conducted using internationally recognized quality management principles (aligned with ISO 9001 frameworks) and a weighted scoring system.
We evaluate the factory across five core modules:

Business

Business license, export license, tax registration, and ownership structure.

Infrastructure

Assessing the building, lighting, workspace organization (5S), and safety equipment

Documentation & Compliance

Verifying business licenses, export registrations, and product certifications

Production Capacity

Calculating daily output based on current staffing and machinery to ensure they can meet your deadlines

Machinery & Maintenance

Verifying the age, condition, and capacity of the production machinery, and checking for a preventive maintenance schedule, Number and type of machines, cutting machines, testing equipment, and packing stations.

Quality Management System (QMS)

Evaluating the factory’s QC team, inspection protocols, defect tracking, and testing equipment, Incoming material inspections, in-line QC, final random inspections, and root-cause analysis for past defects.

Workforce

Total number of employees, QC staff ratio, and technical staff qualifications.

Safety & Labor Laws

Cleanliness, ventilation, storage conditions for raw materials, and waste management.

Factory Audit FAQs

How long does a factory audit take?

Most standard factory audits take 1 full day on-site. Complex facilities with multiple production lines may require 2 days.

Do you check for forced or child labor during a factory audit?

While we note obvious ethical red flags during a Quality Audit, a comprehensive evaluation of labor practices requires our dedicated [Social Compliance Audit]. We recommend booking both for a complete 360-degree view of your supplier.

Can a factory “cheat” the audit?

Because our auditors are unannounced or give very short notice (typically 24 hours), it is very difficult for a factory to hide their true operations. We also cross-check verbal statements against payroll and production records.

What is a passing score for a factory audit?

While the acceptance threshold is up to you, we generally recommend that a factory score at least 75% overall, with no critical failures in the Quality Management System or Legal Documentation modules.

Can you audit a factory in India?

Yes. We operate in major manufacturing hubs across Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and India. Please contact us with the specific city, and we will confirm inspector availability.
