The internet is full of suppliers who claim to be “direct factories.” In reality, many are trading companies with no manufacturing capability, and some are outright scams. If you send a deposit to a fake supplier or a middleman, you risk losing your money and your production timeline.
A PRIAAS Factory Verification is a fast, targeted, on-the-ground check. Before you invest in a full factory audit or place a large order, we physically visit the supplier’s address to confirm they are a legitimate business, prove whether they are a factory or a trading company, and provide photographic evidence of their operations.
What Our Verification Process Covers
Our local inspectors visit the supplier’s premises to verify:
Business Legitimacy
Verifying the factory’s business license, export license, and tax registration.
Physical Existence
Confirming the supplier exists at the stated address and that the business name matches their legal documents
Factory vs. Trading Company
Assessing the premises to confirm if they actually manufacture goods (checking for machinery, production lines, and raw materials) or if they are a trading office
Photographic Evidence
Taking photos of the factory exterior (with signage), the entrance, the production floor, the warehouse, and management staff
Scale & Capacity
Taking a general inventory of the building size, number of employees, and visible production lines

Factory Verification FAQs
What is the difference between a Factory Verification and a Factory Audit?
A Verification is a quick check to prove the supplier is real and legitimate. A Factory Audit is a deep, scored evaluation of their quality control systems, machinery, and production capacity. If you are just starting to talk to a supplier, a Verification is the best first step.
Can you verify a supplier if they refuse to give me their exact address?
No. A verification requires a physical address. If a supplier refuses to provide a full factory address, it is a major red flag. Our verification process is exactly what you need to uncover why they are hiding.
How do you determine if a supplier is a trading company?
Our inspectors look for physical evidence of manufacturing (e.g., sewing machines, raw materials, assembly lines). If the address is just a small office with a few salespeople and no machinery, we will flag it as a trading company in the report.
How long does a factory verification take?
The on-site visit usually takes 2 to 4 hours. We deliver the final report within 1 to 2 business days.
Do you check their financial records?
No. We verify the existence and validity of their business licenses and export registrations. We do not conduct deep financial audits or credit checks; our focus is on physical operational legitimacy.
Ready to verify your supplier?
Provide the supplier’s company name, address, and your product category. We will confirm inspector availability and pricing within one business day.
